In addition to luxury hotel services, world-class golf and convenient access to two of the best ski resorts in North America, Paramonte homeowners can choose from a multitude of activities available only to community members.

Mountain Biking/ Hiking
Wind your way through Cordillera's 7,000 acres and miles and miles of beautifully maintained private trails that give the hiking or biking enthusiast the freedom to explore the magnificent Colorado countryside. Many of these trails adjoin and enter the National Forest, opening up another million or so acres to explore.

Tennis
Cordillera doesn't forget tennis lovers. Whether you like the bounce of all–weather or Hard True, there are courts to please you spread throughout the 4 communities. And there is a professional staff to instruct and arrange matches. Professional service includes private lessons, clinics, weekly events and kids programs.

Fishing/ Rafting
Cordillera is one of the very few communities in the West that OWNS its own piece of private river heaven. This gives Cordillera homeowners and members private access to almost two miles along both sides of the Eagle River for year round, world-class trout fishing; as well as spring and summer white water rafting. You can do all this on your own; or, you can use the services of our private guides.

Athletic Facilities
State-of-the-art workout facilities and swimming pools are located in every neighborhood Clubhouse where you can work out on your own or join in one of the many classes that cover everything from pilates, to spin, to yoga, to guided hikes or snowshoeing. Or you can simply take advantage of access to the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera facilities.

Cordillera Equestrian Center
In the heart of Cordillera sits a spectacular Equestrian Center that includes indoor/outdoor riding arenas, boarding stalls with daily turn-outs, as well as outdoor living paddocks and training facilities. From the Cordillera riding center, riders can access thousands of acres of National Forest trails that retrace the footsteps of Colorado's earliest pioneers. Cordillera's Bearcat Stables also offer a variety of riding excursions.

Nordic Skiing
Cordillera's Nordic Center offers miles of manicured trails maintained for cross country skiing and snow shoeing, with rental equipment readily available; and, finally, homeowners and members have access to a private ice skating rink that is lighted for night time use.

Dining
Dining options in Cordillera range from relaxed and casual, to fine and gourmet with something for every taste.

  • Timber Hearth:
    • Offering a fresh and light menu of inspired American cuisine with a Western flair, Timber Hearth's three-story river rock fireplace, cozy furniture, and picture windows overlooking the golf course provide an unforgettable dining experience.
    • Horse-drawn sleigh rides are available during the winter season.
    • Located in the Cordillera Mountain Clubhouse, the Timber Hearth serves lunch from 11am to 3pm daily and dinner from 5pm to 9pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
  • El Mirador:
    • With spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains, El Mirador tempts you with regional fare and seasonal specialties.
    • An extensive wine list combines with an innovative menu and breathtaking mountain vistas to create a truly memorable occasion.
    • El Mirador's private dining room, "The Wine Room," is the only one of its kind in the Vail Valley and an ideal private setting for up to 12 of your closest friends.
  • Cordillera Café
    • Located in the Town Center at Cordillera. Open year–round.
  • Chaparral:
    • Chaparral boasts certified prime–aged Angus steaks and chops, as well as seafood, pasta, and vegetarian entrees.
    • It also features a variety of appetizers, soups, salads and an extensive wine list.
    • Enjoy Chaparral's inviting décor and design, a showcase of the Colorado territorial–style of architecture.
    • Chaparral is open 7 days a week in the spring & summer for lunch 11:30am to 3pm.
  • Grouse on the Green:
    • Enjoy an authentic, Irish pub–style experience at Grouse on the Green, which features an interior designed in Ireland, then shipped to Cordillera for installation.
    • Adding to the Irish pub ambience, Grouse on the Green has menu items such as shepherd's pie and classic fish and chips, as well as continental cuisine with a Colorado spin and a variety of microbrew beers.
    • Grouse on the Green is open seasonally.
  • The Summit at Cordillera:
    • The views from this vantage point are nothing short of fantastic!
    • The Summit is open 7 days a week in the spring & summer for lunch 11:00am to 3pm.
